Tipon

Finest examples of Incan architectural construction associated with hydraulic systems!

 

We visited the outstanding archaeological site of Tipon which includes the typical channels and fountains which served to irrigate the terraces, nearby courtyards and bordering areas.
 

 

 

Tipon is rarely visited by tourists because it is difficult to reach, but is worthwhile to stop along the road and go up the peak to enjoy the scenery and become familiar with one of the finest examples of Incan architectural construction associated with hydraulic systems!
