At the end of the day we all went to "El Truco" restaurant to enjoy a great "Adobo de Chancho".

About the restaurant and its name:

This structure was built in 1690 as the mint house where all the gold and silver the Conquistadores found in Cuzco was coined for shipment to Spain.

Later on, it became a gambling house where the Spaniards and the wealthy Creoles of Cuzco played their favorite card game called "TRUCO" (trick).

Now, bearing the name "El Truco" this structure houses one of the finest restaurants in Cuzco.
