After a perfect  flight we landed in Cuzco where Gumercindo (our chauffeur) was waiting for us in his minivan to drive us to the Sacred Valley!

 

 

 

The International Airport "Alejandro Velazco Astete" is located on Av. Velasco Astete, 5 kilometers from the city of Cuzco in the district of San Sebastian, province of Cuzco, in the department of the same name.

 

All passengers and luggage on board the minivan...  our next stop... The Sacred Valley of the Incas!

 

...but before, a quick stop to purchase the train tickets for our visit to Machu Picchu!
